Senior Legal Assistant & Office Manager
Darla brings a wealth of experience to our firm, as our senior legal assistant and office manager, with more than 20 years’ experience in the legal field.
A lifelong Angleton resident, Darla is deeply rooted in the community. She graduated from the Angleton High School Class of 1979, and her extensive local connections and understanding of the area enrich her approach to client support. Her commitment to the community is evident in her work ethic and her dedication to serving the people of Angleton and Brazoria County.
She is well respected in the legal community with whom she has had a close working relationship with, for most of her career as a family law legal assistant, a criminal law legal assistant and as a process server for many private attorneys and the Brazoria County District Attorney’s office.
Outside the office, Darla enjoys spending time with family and her dog, Pebbles.

With over 22 years of experience in family law, her dedication to advocating for the client's interests, providing exceptional support with a blend of expertise and empathy has been a cornerstone of her career. Her extensive background in navigating complex family law matters equips her with a deep understanding of the challenges clients face during their legal journeys.
Jamie’s career has been defined by her unwavering commitment to compassionate service. She approaches each case with genuine kindness, ensuring that clients feel heard, valued, and supported. Her ability to balance professional acumen with a warm, empathetic approach makes her an invaluable advocate for those she assists.
She is well respected in Brazoria County by fellow legal assistants, attorneys and Judges, whom she has had a continued close working relationship with for most of her career in family law. Throughout her career, Jamiehas been a mentor to many young attorneys and legal professionals. She takes pride in seeing others being successful and build their confidence in themselves in the field and with their clients.
Outside the office, Jamie enjoys spending time with her four-legged fur babies, traveling and cooking.
